You will quickly develop your technical knowledge and skills to serve healthcare providers such as hospitals, clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and home care agencies, learning from our experienced and highly specialized team.How you will contribute:Preparing Medicare, Medicaid, and other third-party healthcare payer cost reports for healthcare providersWorking closely with client personnel to request and evaluate information needed to prepare these reportsParticipating in client meetings with our senior reimbursement specialistsAssisting with other regulatory filings to maintain or improve payments from Medicare and other third-party payersWe are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:Deep knowledge and knowledge of accountingAbility to work well both as part of a team and independentlyAttention to detailStrong critical thinking skills and analytical abilitiesAbility to work under pressure to meet rigid target datesMinimum Qualifications:1 year or more of relevant working experienceBachelor's degree in accounting or another related fieldProficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically ExcelPreferred Qualifications:Experience in healthcare financial or patient accountingCPA or CPA-eligibleExperience working with large data files in SQL, Microsoft Access, or similar tools#LI-JB1 #LI-CIN#LI-CIN#LI-JB1FORVIS, LLP is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
