Job Description

Candidates will work in the core assembly area, responsible for building the cores of industrial radiators. They will impact several different areas, including operating a slitting machine where they will load spools of various metals and ensure the machine does not jam. Additionally, they will work in teams of two to assemble the cores by using a handle to put metal pipes through the core sheathing.

Responsibilities

Operate slitting machine and load spools of various metals.

Ensure the slitting machine operates smoothly without jamming.

Assemble industrial radiator cores in teams of two.

Use a handle to insert metal pipes through core sheathing.

Read and interpret blueprints for assembly tasks.

Utilize overhead cranes for moving heavy materials.

Essential Skills

1+ year of assembly or machine operation experience.

1+ year of power tool experience.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Ability to read a tape measure.

Additional Skills Qualifications

Experience with mechanical assembly.

Experience with overhead cranes.

Work Environment

The position is in a manufacturing and fabrication shop working on the 2nd shift (Monday to Thursday, 1:30 PM - 12:00 AM). The facility is not temperature controlled and can become hot during the summer, particularly in the core area where solder dipping is performed. The work environment is clean and organized, ensuring a productive and safe workspace.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
