Roxborough Memorial Hospital is a 131-bed community hospital. The hospital has been serving the medical and health care needs of the Roxborough, Manayunk, East Falls and northwest section of Philadelphia communities for more than a century, having first opened its doors in 1890. Roxborough Memorial Hospitals School of Nursing has been educating nurses since 1898. The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the nation's oldest and largest hospital accreditation agency.

Responsibilities

The Staffing and Bed Placement Coordinator is responsible for managing Roxborough Memorial Hospital clinical and administrative staffing and appropriate bed placement for admissions to the hospital. Assumes coordination of projects for the CNO as delegated and appropriate. Performs minor secretarial and clerical duties with self-initiative.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

High school diploma or equivalent education required.

BLS upon hire and maintain current.

Previous hospital experience, adminstrative staffing

Knowledge of medical terminology, typing skills, calculator and/or ten-key adding machine.

Word processing, spreadsheet experience required.

Experience in healthcare preferred, preferably in an acute care setting.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
