We're looking for a mission-driven Coordinator, Mobile Hub who is passionate about creating more accessible, inclusive, and equitable communities across Canada where people with low vision have unlimited opportunities and can experience life free from barriers and discrimination.
Your Impact at CNIB
Identify and coordinate all logistics & travel for Mobile Hubs within Western Canada.
Create, review, and revise safe processes for the set up and tear down of the Mobile Hub equipment.
Work with the SmartLife team, identify and prepare inventory of supplies of SmartLife products to travel to Mobile Hub locations.
In alignment with Marketing & Communications and local teams, develop and implement strategies to spread awareness about upcoming Mobile Hubs to both internal and external partners.
Creates and maintains relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
When appropriate, leads the on-site organization of Mobile Hub, providing support to staff and participants.
Actively trains, orientates, and supervises volunteers or community partners within the program.
Provides administrative support as needed to staff within the Calgary office.
Who you are:
Education and Certifications
Degree or diploma in related field, or equivalent work experience.Experience and Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in administrative support within a charity/not-for-profit organization.
Proven time management, planning, coordinating and organization skills.
Able to multi-task, manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Professional attitude, results oriented, strategic, and flexible.
Proficient in MS Office 365: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Proficient in using virtual platforms like Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
Proficient with Client Record Management Systems; particularly Salesforce would be an asset.
Personal or professional experience relating to blindness and sight loss is considered an asset.
Personal or professional experience working with assistive technology and/or accessible environments is considered an asset.
