　　Job Summary:

　　The primary function of the Nuclear Medicine (NM) Coordinator is to coordinate the activities and work flow of the Nuclear Medicine department on a daily basis, while functioning as a working technologist.

　　The Coordinator has supervisory responsibilities, which include:

　　(1) scheduling of staff and assuring adequate department coverage at all times including regular hours and on-call covered hours,

　　(2) performing the annual performance evaluation of subordinate staff,

　　(3) counseling NM staff and recommending and enforcing disciplinary action of NM staff in consultation with the Director,

　　(4) being technically proficient, so he/she may mentor and instruct a less experienced technologist,

　　(5) being responsible for the department s compliance with regulatory licensure standards.

　　Education/Training/Certification/Licensure:

　　NJ Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and ARRT (NM) required.Additional Information:
