　　If you are an HVACR Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering Student looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Sidney, Ohio location, you will support Technical Services lab operations to deliver the next round of industry leading products. You will work with system engineer, lab technicians, lab leadership, and engineering teams to develop new processes for and testing of automated test stand controls, HVACR controls, HVACR systems, and new compressor designs.

　　As A Technical Services Co-op, Responsibilities May Include But Are Not Limited To You:

　　Creating and analyzing process mapping

　　Supporting development of compressor testing and HVACR system testing automation.

　　Standardizing work development and processes for Technical Services lab spaces

　　Working with data analytics using excel, Universal Viewer, Domo, or other data analytics programs.

　　Collaborating with and supporting test equipment and control design teams as needed.

　　Who You Are:

　　Required, Education, Experience & Skills:

　　Undergraduate Student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in HVACR Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related field

　　Ability to work 40 hours a week during the scheduled semester

　　Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship for this role will not be provided

　　Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:

　　Undergraduate Student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in HVACR Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering

　　Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher

　　Sophomore or higher class standing

　　Strong oral and written communication skills, analytical and decision-making skills, and PC skills including Microsoft Office

　　Previous Co-op or Intern Experience with Copeland or another company

　　Reliable transportation- Sidney has multiple locations and recommend own transportation for commuting

　　The newly renovated Sidney campus has 1M square feet of manufacturing floor with an additional 120k square feet of leading-edge lab facilities. This location is the headquarters for the air conditioning and cold chain businesses. Through our 30 years of scroll compressor expertise, our air conditioning related products help bring comfort and convenience in commercial, industrial and residential spaces. The cold chain business helps ensure that food safely and efficiently travels from farm to fork. Approximately 1600 employees work in Sidney, who all support a multitude of business functions.
