Through our innovative solutions, we transform industries and improve lives by enabling smarter manufacturing processes and enhancing operational efficiency.Co-op Overview:This role involves working on software development projects within a dynamic and innovative environment full time from May through December 2024. This requires you to take a semester off from your school to complete this full-time co-op program. You'll have the chance to collaborate with experienced professionals, gain exposure to various software engineering concepts, and deeply contribute to improving existing products. Here are some key points to consider:Key Responsibilities:You'll work closely with development teams, gaining hands-on experience in software development environments and using proven development techniques.The position provides exposure to the full development life cycle, agile methodology, system design, test-driven development, test automation, and build and configuration management.Benefits:Each co-op participant is assigned a dedicated mentor to guide you through your experience at Rockwell Automation, assist in understanding their code base, and help you overcome any challenges you encounter.Participation in networking events and company culture activities.Hands-on experience working on innovative software projects.Exposure to a collaborative and dynamic work environment at a Fortune 500 company.401k, health insurance and paid holidaysTechnologies We Use:Angular/Node, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript (Typescript), Kotlin, Go, or Python.Industrial automation software, including PLC or drives programming.Basic Qualifications:Education: You must be currently pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university and able to take a semester off from school to fulfill a co-op program requirement.GPA Requirement: A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 is necessary to be considered for this position.Legal Authorization: Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas for this internship. This does include OPT/CPT/STEM Visas.Preferred Qualifications:Currently pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Working on a software development side-project that exemplifies a passion for continuous innovation and improvement.Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Angular/Node, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript (Typescript), Kotlin, Go, or Python.Excellent problem-solving skills.Application Process:To apply, please submit your resume highlighting your interest in the Software Developer Co-op position and your relevant skills and experiences.
