　　About the Position

　　At Goodwin Living, our cooks provide a pleasurable dining experience for residents by preparing high quality food. They manage all aspects of food preparation and production in an environment that meets sanitation guidelines.

　　Pay Rate is $20-$23/hr depending on experience.

　　Job Duties

　　Able to work all stations in Main Kitchen, Bistro, Action Station and Fireside as well as expedite in all zones

　　Able to read tickets, cook a la carte in any zone in all stations; competent in reading tickets for meal plan and carry-out orders

　　Able to prepare and execute recipes on a large scale—full capacity of one zone

　　Assists catering as assigned

　　Supervise healthcare cuisine: pureed and ground foods; competent at producing pureed cuisine and mechanically enhanced foods

　　Possess up to date Food handler’s sanitation certification

　　Job Requirements

　　High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

　　Must be able to read, write, measure, and follow instructions in English.

　　Up to date SERV Safe Food Handler’s Sanitation Certificate required.

　　3-5 years food service preparation experience required.

　　Excellent communication skills preferred.

　　Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with others.
