The Inn at Perry Cabin is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and creative Cook 2 who has a profound interest in the culinary arts, a strong desire to build industry knowledge, and a drive to meet the highest standards in our profession.The culinary team at the Inn at Perry Cabin are on a quest to return Chesapeake Bay cooking to its fundamental elements.Our exceptional group of talented, creative and thoughtful crew members each bring a unique perspective and consistent determination to our kitchen.
The main responsibilities of the Cook 2 include:
Prepare amazing and locally sourced Chesapeake delicacies in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner.Prepare locally cultivated menu items to order on demand for all FandB outlets in the hotel.Focus on all aspects of the kitchen including Banquets.Assist in the opening of the kitchen daily and ensure standards are maintained from opening each morning until the end of the day.Always maintain and promote a professional hospitality team environment.Detailed job description provided upon request.Preferred qualifications
Minimum 3-4 years experience working in various aspects of a kitchen, including Banquets.Able to work any shift on any day, including weekends and holidays.Benefits
