Description:
DAY TO DAY:
Candidate will be responsible for working on various projects where they will be responsible for handling them from cradle to grave. The candidate will receive the customer specification and they will need to interpret this information from a hardware design standpoint to ensure that it can be commissioned properly in the Eplan/Autocad Electrical software. They will follow the project from hardware design to software producing which would involve working in Allen Bradley PLC's to start up/commission.
Candidate will need to understand all phases of the project as they will eventually be running the projects on their own. They will be working on primarily Ford projects and they will be working alongside a mentor at first, however they will need to be independent to run the project.
Candidate will also be involved in ensuring that the line ups/excel documents match and that they will be working with the team from a timeline perspective to make sure the project is moving along on time and they will need to update the customer.
HOURS:
Candidate will be working anywhere between 45-50 hours per week
TRAVEL:
25% primarily Ford sites which can include Blue Oval City and local plants
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVES:
-Controls Engineering background (Candidate must have experience as a Controls Engineer on the hardware and software side)
-Allen Bradley PLC experience (Candidate must be proficient within Allen Bradley PLC's)
-Hardware Design (Candidate must understand how to read prints/schematics and how to design controls hardware utilizing AutoCad Electrical)
-Microsoft Office (Candidate will be tracking timelines/budgets and utilizing excel)
-Automation Manufacturing background (Candidate must come from an integrator background as they are doing all front end work
