Job Overview

　　The Corporate Controls Engineer will be working in a large, highly-automated manufacturing enterprise with responsibility for the line automation, process control and process information systems. This will require working with outside vendors, engineers, equipment manufacturers and controls manufacturers as well as with the internal IT, Operations & Maintenance Departments.

　　Job Responsibilities

　　Monitor, maintain and support plant-wide automation systems.

　　Assimilate a thorough understanding of all aspects of the PLC-based shop floor automation and control systems equipment for high speed processing and packaging applications.

　　Design Process Controls Systems & Strategies

　　Develop, implement, support and troubleshoot the Wonderware-based factory management and control system.

　　Specify, Procure & Perform maintenance on PLC’s and HMI’s systems including programming & backups of programs.

　　Specify & procure Motor Control Centers (MCC’s) and VFD’s, controls hardware and field instrumentation.

　　Control Panel Design / Wiring.

　　Other responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

　　Required Education and Experience

　　Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

　　3 years of electrical engineering experience or more.

　　3 years experience in implementing WonderWare InTouch process control system or more.

　　Rockwell PLC hardware and software (ControlLogix, CompactLogix RSLogix).

　　Understanding of Process Network Infrastructure (Ethernet), controls hardware and field instrumentation.

　　HMI design and development.

　　Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCad.

　　Ability to travel to project / work sites as required.

　　Preferred Education and Experience

　　PLC programming, Wonderware MES, InTouch development, RSLogix.

　　Rockwell, Wonderware training/certification.

　　Working Conditions

　　• While the majority of the tasks will be conducted on first shift, candidates must be prepared to provide support on all shifts, particularly for training-related items.

　　• Work is mainly performed in an office setting, with some time spent in a manufacturing environment
