We are a GSA approved vendor.Applied has been fortunate to retain associates who have built long lasting careers. 25% of our US team has 20+ years of service!In addition to competitive pay including annual bonus opportunities and all the benefits you'd expect from an industry leader (401K with company match, insurance, time off, employee assistance, tuition reimbursement, etc.) we also provide:A LASTING CAREER - Career paths are available throughout the countryProfessional development and trainingTeam oriented company culture where it's called work for a reason but have fun in the processLead a local team with company backingWhat you will do:Create a written document of machine operations, which is used for development and troubleshooting.Develop advanced programs for Mobile PLCs from a variety of vendors using CODESYS or software.Create programming blocks to add to custom libraries.Program Displays (HMI's) using CODESYS or vendor proprietary software.Design effective graphics and user interface elements for Displays, Control Boxes, and Radio Remotes.Hand build and test prototype systems in a dedicated electronics lab.Establish component interaction using J1939 CAN-bus.Engage in creative and innovative problem solving daily while managing a diverse array of projects.Continually research and apply new technologies to grow team capabilities.Qualifications:2 or 4 yr Engineering degree. Mechanical engineering preferred3+ years fluid power system design and/or technical support experience.Working knowledge of DesignCAD or SolidWorksWritten and verbal communication skills, including English grammarRelationship building skills at all levels with customers, prospective customers, and the Spencer team.Valid drivers license and driving recordIndividual contributors with fresh ideas and passion for excellence are encouraged and rewarded. Apply today for immediate consideration.In accordance with applicable wage transparency law requirements, the typical total compensation for this position in Portland or Seattle WA is $80,000 - $110,000per year depending on experience. This includes salary and bonus opportunities.
