The Certified Scrub Technician (CST) must have completed 1 year of an accredited surgical technologist program. The CST can provide basic care under the supervision of licensed personnel and assist the surgeon during cases. The CST is also responsible for sterilizing all instruments and supplies for the hospital.

Experience:

Previous on the job training or graduate of Basic ST course, 1 year experience preferred.
