Description We are in search of a Controller to join our team in Buffalo, New York. This role will focus on maintaining financial records, managing grants, and maintaining relationships with funders in a non-profit setting. This is a contract position that offers a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software systems

• Regularly review and analyze financial statements

• Play a key role in budget processes and strategic planning

• Monitor cash flows on a daily basis and ensure all filings are completed on time

• Manage grants, including vouchering the grants

• Work closely with business partners and maintain relationships with funders

• Use CRM and Crystal Reports to track and report on financial data

• Conduct regular audits to ensure financial accuracy

• Train new staff members on accounting functions and software usage. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with CRM

• Ability to use Crystal Reports

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Ability to manage Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of Auditing procedures

• Understanding of Budget Processes

• Ability to Analyze Financial Statements

• Experience with Financial Statement preparation

• Skills in Financial Statements Consolidation

• Proficiency in managing General Ledger

• Experience in Annual Budget preparation
