Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Controller in the manufacturing industry. Located in Fort Worth, Texas, this position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in full-cycle accounting. This role involves working with intercompany allocations, cash flow management, bank and account reconciliations, and preparing financials.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee full-cycle accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions

• Conduct month-end close responsibilities, which includes the preparation and analysis of financial statements

• Perform bank and account reconciliations to maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data

• Assist in preparing financials for review and analysis, providing insights into company's financial status

• Manage intercompany allocations, ensuring proper distribution and recording of financial transactions

• Assist with year-end tasks, ensuring all financial records are compliant with standards and regulations

• Provide support during sales tax audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is available and accurate

• Oversee cash flow management, monitoring inflows and outflows to ensure optimal use of funds

• Liaise with HR and risk management departments, collaborating on cross-functional tasks

• Utilize expertise in Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Solutions to streamline accounting functions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services

• Knowledge of DCAA regulations and ERP Solutions

• Experience with full-cycle Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Understanding of Auditing procedures and Budget Processes.
