Are you looking to assist and lead an audit, leading and advising our client on processes and methodology within the finance and accounting field? Located in the area of Claremont, NH, this Controller position will be a contract / temporary opportunity. This Controller position is for candidates who can manage the process to ensure processes and policies are in place, lead in accountability to ensure month end is reached within deadline, lead and assist with a system change, and produce stand alone financials to CEO and Management team.
Key responsibilities
Review and monitor controls to ensure they are designed and operating effectively in partnership with compliance
Ensure timely cash flow forecasts
Continuous reviewing of actual spend against budget, as well as directing actions needed for any expected shortfalls
Manage all processes and tools for budgeting, forecasting
Obtain understanding of key financial results and movements across programs to summarize and discuss with key business partners
Achieve understanding of key financial results
Requirements - Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
Demonstrated ability to manage, lead change, and build process improvements
ERP system knowledge required
7+ years detail oriented accounting and controllership or public accounting and internal controls experience and/or Internal Audit or Controls and Compliance
Auditing experience desired
experience in in office and accounting computer systems
Proven communication and negotiation skills, ability to establish trusted advisor/consultant relationships, and capability to influence Executives and Business Decision Makers
Prior background in engaging virtually with teams around the globe and providing leadership across finance teams
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other relevant field
CPA and/or CMA preferred
