Based in the Grand Island, Nebraska area, this opening for a Controller is a permanent position. This role's duties will require planning and directing all accounting operational functions, handling the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluating accounting and internal control systems, and leading departmental staff. This position is for candidates who can effectively manage self and others within strict time constraints when providing client services, lead while also being a team player, generate innovative ideas, and challenge the status quo. 　　What you get to do every single day

　　Produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and manage daily cash

　　Inspect deliverables of self and team to ensure that they meet client expectations

　　Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor on a monthly basis

　　Handle monthly and annual close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis

　　Complete tasks beyond formal job responsibilities

　　Research, prepare and execute Finance Department initiatives such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as required

　　Evaluate, implement and streamline policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies

　　Support punctual cash collection by managing the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques

　　Collaborate with executive team and partners to make efficient and effective firm-wide operation possible

　　Present executive committee and partners with monthly financial reports

　　Oversee the activities of the finance department, such as accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll Requirements

　　5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred

　　BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field

　　Intercompany accounts experience

　　Deep understanding of Monthly Financial Statements

　　Comprehensive knowledge of Ground Transportation

　　Budget management experience

　　Adeptness in Intercompany Accounting

　　Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines

　　Extraordinary analytical, quantitative and social skills

　　Excellent verbal, written, and social skills

　　Demonstrated ability to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

　　Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

　　Strong attention to detail

　　Self-starter and strong ethical standards
