Description

　　Robert Half is partnering with a Civil Construction company who is looking to hire a highly qualified and experienced Financial Controller with a strong background in Work in Progress (WIP) accounting and a solid foundation in public accounting. The ideal candidate will hold a CPA and have 10+ years of progressive accounting experience. The role will include:

　　Financial Management:

　　Oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

　　Manage and enhance financial controls, processes, and systems.

　　Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.

　　WIP Accounting:

　　Lead the WIP accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely recognition of revenue and costs.

　　Work closely with project managers to analyze project budgets, costs, and profitability.

　　Implement strategies to optimize WIP accounting processes and enhance reporting accuracy.

　　Budgeting and Forecasting:

　　Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts.

　　Monitor budget performance and provide insights into variances.

　　Contribute to the development of financial strategies to achieve business objectives.

　　Financial Reporting:

　　Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements to management.

　　Provide analysis and commentary on financial results.

　　Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

　　Requirements

　　Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

　　CPA designation highly preferred.

　　Extensive experience in financial management, WIP accounting, and public accounting.

　　Strong knowledge of construction industry accounting practices.

　　Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

　　Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

　　Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
