JOB REQUIREMENTS: Location: Central Position: Controller Reports To: CFODate: January 9,2024 JOB SUMMARY The Controller is responsible forworking closely with Wis-Pak\'s management team, Operations, SupplyChain, and the accounting and administrative support staff to developand improve reporting systems, analytics, policies, and procedures whichmeet the needs of both internal and external customers. Directs thefinancial affairs of the organization and prepares financial analyses ofoperations. Responsible for the company\'s financial plans and policies,its accounting practices, the maintenance of its fiscal records, themaintenance of internal controls to ensure compliance, and thepreparation of financial reports. The position involves supervision overgeneral accounting, property accounting, internal auditing, and costaccounting. JOB DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Note: The job functionsrelate to the job, not the individual) * Direct month-end and year-endclose process. * Manage the preparation of periodic financialstatements, financial forecasts, and annual budgets. * Analyzefinancial results to identify opportunities and improvements that can bemade. * Manage A/R, A/P, Fixed Asset Records, Costing, and Inventoryaccounting operations. * Coordinate the preparation and execution ofthe annual audit. * Establish and maintain strong relationships withsenior executives and provide advice on the financial implications ofbusiness activities. Ensures internal controls are in place and beingfollowed for proper accounting and safeguarding of the company\'sassets. * Manage and comply with local, state, and federal governmentreporting requirements and tax filings. QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor\'sdegree in accounting or business administration with a minor inAccounting; MBA desired but not mandatory. * CPA License. * At leastfive years of manufacturing experience in either a private or publicaccounting. * ERP experience, JDEdwards a plus. * Proficiency withMicrosoft Office. * Leadership, mentoring, and team building skills. *Proven problem-solving and analytical skills. * Excellent oral,written, and communication skills. * Strong organizational skills andthe ability to maintain detailed records.
