Contracts Analyst
Helps review project cost proposals and helps draft contracts usingestablished templates. As part of this process reviews contract/proposalterms and conditions and potential risks and appropriateness to helpensure they adhere to state and federal laws, rules, and regulations aswell as and university and Arizona Board of Regents and Universitypolicies, procedures, and needs.
Contract Management - 60%
Assists with the interpretation of contract provisions,stipulations, obligations, and liabilities.Assists with monitoring and reporting on contractor performance todetermine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, andcompliance to contractual obligations.Helps assess contractor service value and product/servicereliability relative to cost.Drafts contracts using established templates.Compliance Verification - 20%
Reviews basic contractual terms and conditions to ensure compliancewith Board of Regents, University policy and federal and state lawsand regulations.Receives requests, updates records, initiates paperwork; may assistwith follow-up on contract changes; maintains basic contract filesand prepares documents for contract renewal or cancellation.Correspondence - 10%
Corresponds with contractors and departmental representativesregarding contract issues, status or negotiation.Reporting - 5%
Prepares basic reports as required for audit and administrativepurposes.Other - 5%
