Description

　　Robert Half is looking for a Contract Staff Accountant with Homebuilding, Construction or Real Estate Industry accounting experience to support a company in the homebuilding industry in Colorado Springs.

　　The Staff Accountant will prepare journal entries, month-end closings, bank reconciliations, fixed asset maintenance and general ledger reconciliation.

　　The company offers a challenging and multi-faceted opportunity where effort is rewarded. The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, and experience using an ERP software system.

　　Responsibilities include:

　　• Reviewing general ledger accounts and preparing and adjusting journal entries

　　• Performing account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts

　　• Maintaining general ledger charts of accounts

　　• Assisting with initial internal control evaluations

　　• Posting monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals

　　Expected Pay Range: $30/hr - $38/hr
