Contracts Specialist II/III | Hybrid (1-day) Onsite in Arlington, VA
Description:
Develop, prepare, and present terms and conditions in proposals related to the award of contracts.
Negotiate and award contracts, contract modifications, and subcontracts.
Participate in negotiating, awarding, or administering contracts, or the analysis of procurement policies and procedures.
Administer the terms and conditions of contracts, including preparing contract modifications, evaluation of performance under the contract, and contract termination.
Analyze proposed prices or costs, including evaluating technical and audit reports, forecasting price trends, evaluating economic factors, estimating production efficiencies, and evaluating methods of allocating cost through various types of overhead and general and administrative expense.
Formulate policies and procedures for the acquisition of goods or services; participate in procurement management reviews and contract clearance or develop positions on claims and protests related to contracts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of six (6) years of specialized experience (outlined in The Role section above) with Federal Research and Development (R&D) and services contracting to include Broad Agency Announcements (BAA) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 35.
Extensive experience with cost analysis, cost negotiating, and cost type contracts.
Other Transaction Authority (OTA) experience strongly preferred.
Excellent communications skills; ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
Active Secret clearance required.
