The Information Technologies Division is actively seeking a Info Tech Analyst - IT Contract Administrator.

This position will report to the Technology Contracts and Records Manager and will be responsible for IT contract workflow, procurement workflow, and diversified legal contract administration. The work involves extensive interaction with the Office of General Counsel and requires an understanding of local government contract principles and practices gained through practical knowledge, experience, and training.
Examples of Work
Primary responsibilities include the following:
Prepares requests for contract review and/or drafting including all supporting documentation and the business reason for the contract in non-technical language in order to purchase IT goods and services within the required timeframe.
Coordinates work with that of Senior Administrative Specialist, working closely with ITD Management and Procurement Division to ensure IT products and services are obtained when required.
Administers all records required and regularly communicates with suppliers for effective vendor management.
Coordinates IT software/hardware annual maintenance renewals with responsible ITD Manager to ensure no gaps in support.
Assists IT Managers with the Procurement process.
Reviews, researches, and responds to contract related inquiries made by ITD management and vendors including invoices and payments.
Tracks and administers all RFPs/bids and agreements through the full procurement and contract lifecycle .
Reviews contracts during term to ensure vendor accountability.
Communicates effectively both orally and in writing using proper business English.
Works independently as well as in a large team environment.
Organizes and maintains multiple tasks and processes with shifting priorities and time constraints.
Enter requisitions completely and accurately, including term of service, for all contract-related and formal purchases using Oracle ERP system (1Cloud).
Utilizes ERP software and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Provides backup for IT Administrative Specialists.
Demonstrates proficiency in the City of Jacksonville’s competencies.
Performs related work as required.
Open Requirements/Supplemental Information
Six years of education and/or professional experience in contract and legal agreement administration.
Preferred
Information Technology background is preferred.
Prior experience working in federal, state, or local government is preferred.
A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
LICENSING/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:
A valid driver’s license is required prior to appointment and must be maintained during employment in this class.
Must qualify for prior to appointment, obtain, and maintain during employment in this class a City of Jacksonville Certification as a Public Driver.
