About Structural Engineering - Student Intern

  H2M architects engineers, a multi-discipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm with multiple offices in NY & NJ seeks qualified interns to work closely with experienced professionals in our Structural Engineering Department .

  The intern will be responsible for:

  General administrative tasks such as gathering and compiling data. Assisting project managers with construction drawings and specifications. Computer drafting using AutoCAD and Revit. Other duties as assigned.

  The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:

  Enrolled as a sophomore or higher in a Civil Engineering or related program at an accredited institution. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD. Eagerness to learn. Ability to work individually as well as in a team.

  Program runs from June 3 rd - August 9 th Ability to work on real life projects, go out into the field and build relationships with managers, co-workers and other interns Participate in fun and exciting workshops like resume writing, interviewing skills, benefits 101, Presentation Skills, etc. Celebrate National Intern Day! Top it off with presentations to your other fellow interns, managers and leadership team
