Your Role
As Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist your responsibility is to implement the internal continuous improvement strategy of the sites in alignment with the local management teams.
Your Responsibilities
Bring Improvement technics toLife: implement and keep up continuous improvement techniques like SQCDEPboards, 5S, Process control boards, VSM and more.
Be the Coach: train and supportour team members in using these techniques. You don't need to be a drillsergeant, just someone ready to share knowledge and experience.
Project Collaboration: work onimpactful projects with colleagues from different teams. Let's make ourworkplace and processes even better together.
Encourage Improvement Culture:help create a culture where everyone is part of making things better everyday. No need for a cape, just a passion for improvement.
Support the management: use your influencing skills to helpmanagement team get on the improvement train, developing knowledge in LeanThinking and Production System.
Lead and deliver LSS GreenBelts projects, coach others on their DMAIC and make sure our improvementsshow up on the P&L. Don't worry, we'll teach you the finance lingo.
Customer value drivers: findand suggest ways to make our customers' satisfaction even better. #LI-AM4
You eagerly tackle basicslike 5S and Team Boards while also taking charge of complex projects.
Your Skills and Experiences
3 to 5 years experience in an operational role, preferably within supply chain environment,
Been Around the Block: workedin fast paced operations for severalyears, maybe in supply chain? We'd love to hear about your experiences. Experience in retail? Even better!
Knowledge & practice inLean Six Sigma: played around with Lean Six Sigma Tools, continuousimprovements and project management? Maybe you're not an expert in every tool yet, but you have proven experiencein implementing lean tools and projects implementation.
Practical coaching : youexcel in employing a balanced approach that emphasizes understanding the'why' through a soft, empathetic demeanor. Simultaneously, you demonstratea resolute stance when holding stakeholders accountable for theircommitments, fostering a structured and accountable work environment. Weneed someone who can chat with people from all levels and loves coachingand sharing knowledge.
Think and Do: you areanalytical, but you are not stuck in your head. You like to get hands-onand make things happen.
Fluent in Dutch and English:communication is key, so if you can speak both, you're golden.
