Description

　　THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT ON A VACANCY

　　Performs aspects of technical supply management work such as inventory management, storage management, and cataloging related to squadron supply activities. Performs physical tasks to transport or store materials or merchandise manually loading or unloading transporting devices; unpacking, shelving, or placing items in proper storage locations; or transporting goods by hand truck, cart, or motor vehicle. Performs a variety of warehousing duties such as verifying materials, merchandise, and or equipment against receiving documents and routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods; taking inventory of stored materials; and removing materials from storage and preparing it for shipment.

　　Education: High school diploma or GED.Experience: Three years’ experience performing functional duties for the position assigned independently. Three years’ experience supporting aviation maintenance. Demonstrated knowledge of supply/ logistics policies and procedures. Demonstrated use of technical publications and guidance. Demonstrated use of equipment logs and records and specific experience in the position assigned. Experience with CNAFINST 4790.2 compliance. Other Desired Experience: Experience performing analysis on logistics data. Two years NAWC/ NAVAIR experience
