Job Summary
The Content Specialist will write, edit, and publish engaging content across Insureon's marketing channels. This includes content designed to educate small business owners, grow new business for Insureon, and retain and upsell existing customers. Being a good writer and teammate will be tantamount to your success in this position.
In this role, you will support the Content Director and Manager in meeting publishing deadlines, and posting content on our websites and social media channels. This opportunity offers you the chance to collaborate with and learn from SEO, Analytics, Product, Sales and insurance subject matter experts. Every day.
Responsibilities - The Day-to-Day Work on digital and social marketing efforts: short- and long-form writing, editing, and posting for specific web pages and social content Help facilitate the content workflow from creation through publication and revisions Follow Insureon's editorial standards and ensure content aligns with our voice and tone Contribute to content calendar as requested Support the Content Director with daily operations and ad hoc requests Help the Content Manager with daily CMS updates Engage with teammates to better understand the insurance industry, and the needs of our small business owner customers Collaborate on original projects to create unique content for small business owners Mine research, insights, and usability studies to create engaging content Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a content-related field (Marketing, Journalism, Design, etc.) required 3+ years of relevant experience required; digital marketing experience highly preferred Financial services and/or insurance experience would be ideal Experience posting and publishing content in a CMS is a definite plus Ability to rapidly write and edit your own content for ad hoc needs Familiarity with AP Style and SEO Track record of creating compelling, clear content: WRITING SAMPLES REQUIRED Knowledgeable of best practices for web, mobile, and social media content Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively deliver in a fast-paced environment Work Location
This position has remote working availability.
Disclosure required under applicable state or municipality regulations: The expected salary range for this position is $65,000-$75,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, equity and commissions for some positions.
