The Content Marketing Specialist II is responsible for creating, writing, editing, and managing fresh content for a variety of marketing channels, including paid, free, digital, and traditional channels.
The Content Marketing Specialist II works closely with the Content Marketing Team Lead to develop and plan integrated content strategies that align with the company's goals. The Content Marketing Specialist II works alongside other content specialists and collaborates with other marketing team members to execute content, including blog posts, news articles, web pages, white papers, social media posts, email copy, ad copy, collateral, sales materials, and more.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Writes and edits fresh content, including blog posts, articles, white papers, print material, website copy, ad copy, video scripts, and social media posts as assigned
Creates content that is consistent in brand voice and brand standards
Researches and develops new content topics and ideas
May meet with department liaisons to discuss content goals and provides recommendations
Upholds content review cycle including Legal, HR, Clinical, SMEs, etc.
Updates content calendar and actively participates in campaign planning
Works with designers and developers to create visual content
Works with video producers or freelancers to create video content
May guide other content marketing specialists on occasion
Posts content to website using content management system (CMS)
Uploads and builds content and marketing guides on digital asset management system (DAM)
Optimizes content for search engines
Tracks and analyzes content performance
Collaborates with other marketing team members
Stays up-to-date on industry trends
Performs other duties as assigned/necessary
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred
3+ years of experience in content marketing preferred
Strong writing and editing skills
Excellent research and analytical skills
Experience with SEO and content optimization
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail
Creative and innovative thinker
Proficiency in the English language is required
Hybrid work model (three days in office, two days remote per week)

$65,000 - $68,000 / year
$5,000 - $6,000 annual bonus potential
Evaluated by performance and paid out quarterly
