　　Job Overview:

　　Make familiarized with the Company procedures, work instructions, guidelines and standards for work to be performed and asked guidance where required. Perform detailed design engineering, analysis and calculations on basic engineering tasks. Apply knowledge and skills to complete routine assignments under close supervision and mentoring of experienced engineer. Prepare clear and accurate detailed design calculations and analyses including design reports and procedures. Organize own work to meet deadlines set by others. Clearly communicate information, asking questions and checking for understanding.

　　Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

　　Gain an understanding of the project scope of work, specifications, schedule and all inter-discipline requirements.

　　Perform calculation for power distribution system

　　Produces consumer lists from available equipment data

　　Is able to make sizing calculations of electrical equipment and components

　　Populate electrical items in electrical databases like SPEL

　　Is able to make electrical one-line diagrams

　　Prepare sketches of detail design to guide Designers.

　　Requisitioning and specification of simple bulk materials incl. TBE and SDR.

　　Check drawings.

　　Keep the Lead Engineer apprised of all activities, progress and concerns.

　　Develop an awareness of costs related to own work.

　　Develop basic understanding of MDR's business and customers it serves.

　　Develop basic knowledge of MDR's business units and interactions including engineering and fabrication.

　　Develop advanced skills in use of standard productivity tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

　　Essential Qualifications and Education:

　　Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Engineering

　　Entry-level position, or less than 3 yrs experience in oil and gas

　　Learning the content and application of standards, codes and guidelines as applicable. Learning design techniques and analysis methods.

　　Preferred Qualifications and Education:

　　Preferably Registered Engineer in Training (EIT) or member of professional engineering society.#LI-LM1
