Everyone has an important role in accomplishing these objectives! In the Construction Manager, Transmission & Substation role, the following activities are performed:
Lead and supervise the construction of transmission lines or substations on various construction projects.
Oversee and direct contractors, sub-contractors, utility management and other electrical contractors to ensure facilities are constructed to specifications and high level of workmanship.
Advise and provide leadership on project costs, Requests For Proposal (RFP), contractor selection and any necessary change orders.
Drive projects to completion while maintaining a safe work environment, staying on budget and on schedule
Collaborate with internal teams like Project Engineers and Procurement to determine how to successfully complete projects.
Develop appropriate project controls and contractor payment methodologies.

Our many internal and external teams and stakeholders will benefit most from a confident and experienced Project Manager.
Safety is one of our values, so knowledge of OSHA requirements is required.
PMP Certification or ability and willingness to obtain within a year of position acceptance.
