Construction Liability Desktop Claims Technician
The role:
We have an excellent opportunity for a desktop-based Construction Liability Claims Technician in our Construction and Engineering team. Whilst the team are based in London, this can be a home based/flexible role for the right individual. Your role will involve handling and investigating a mixture of Employers` Liability and Public Liability personal injury and damage construction liability claims on a cradle-to-grave basis. There would also be the future potential for development into an adjusting role within the Construction and Engineering department.
Your clients will include some of the most prestigious construction, Blue Chip Corporate Clients and Brokers, it is therefore essential that you have experience within the claims arena. You will also be investigative in your approach to claims handling and have the ability to identify questionable information and apply correct procedures to identify potentially fraudulent claims.
About you:
You`ll have a proactive attitude, self-motivated and capable of working on your own initiative. You will also:
Have an EL/PL/injury and property background with the ability to investigate, manage and settle your own portfolio of claims
Be able to interact with all interested stakeholders including claims staff, underwriters, policyholders, brokers and claimants
The ability to apply a thorough knowledge of current case law, statute, and other legal liabilities
Be willing to go the extra mile and provide exemplary customer service
Possess accurate keyboard skills
Have a current clean driving license
Have a good working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
Be extremely well organised and capable of influencing others
Insurance qualifications are desirable, but equal consideration will also be given to those with the relevant experience
