　　Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Construction Intern to join our team in Jamesville, NY for the summer of 2024. As a Construction Intern you will immerse yourself in business processes. This position will have the opportunity to tackle new challenges and projects and gain real-world working experience. You will have lots to talk about when you return to school in the fall!

　　HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO

　　Put your education into action in the field to support and participate in assigned project work.

　　Support operations in achieving production goals while partnering with experienced managers, and production employees in different departments.

　　Complete summer projects to gain an understanding of the operations for heavy highway construction.

　　Ensures compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

　　HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

　　Current sophomores, juniors and seniors working toward a degree in Construction Management.

　　Commitment and engagement through a high level of work ethic and utilization of abilities for the best of the company

　　Demonstrated openness to change, flexibility, and adaptability

　　Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

　　Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects

　　Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
