Other duties may be assigned.* Assist in developing and implementing configuration management (CM) procedures.* Review and recommend improvements to existing CM procedures.* Oversee configuration and base lining activities of project items.* Work with team to organize and maintain configured items.* Ensure data quality, integrity, and security of configured items.* Schedule regular audits and assist in implementing audit recommendations.* Provide support to management in conducting configuration meetings and maintaining project schedules.* Analyze configuration issues and develop appropriate resolutions and action items.* Oversee release activites releated to CMQualificationsQUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications* Five years' experience performing configuration management for software.* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; or 10 years related experienceKnowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics* Experience in agile project management methods including milestones, progress status, proper documentation, and deliverables with the ability to prioritize.* Strong interpersonal, communications, presentation,* Ability to work effectively across the organization with other IT and Business departments.* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to work with complex systems containing many moving parts.* Demonstrated research and analytical skills to define and solve problems and think creatively.* Readiness to undertake assignments involving unfamiliar subjects, as well as work independently and productively, with the aptitude to learn quickly.* Ability to work collaboratively on a team in a remote environment.* Strong communication skills.* Organizational skills to prioritize and plan work, multi-task and meet schedule.NECESSARY PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
