　　RQ construction is quickly becoming one of the leading players in the commercial and government industry on the East Coast. We have multiple projects throughout the Jacksonville, NC area, and are seeking full time Concrete Carpenter/Finisher to join our team.This position will be based out of Jacksonville, NC but will travel to support RQ projects throughout the region to include VA, NC, SC, LA, FL, and GA.

　　This position is responsible for all stages of concrete preparation and placement work including screeding and finishing surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as layout and construction of formwork to construct foundations, curbs, ramps, walls, and columns. Position will also patch voids using saws to cut control/contraction joints. The Concrete Carpenter/Finisher may also be responsible to assist in non-concrete related construction work as assigned.

　　This is all to be done using the appropriate equipment and implementing the required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.All work is to be performed on the military bases and is paid the required Davis-Bacon prevailing wage.Employees will be compensated for travel time according to company policy.

　　Qualifications are as follows:

　　A high school diploma or GED is the preferred minimum formal education for this position.Three or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience in concrete within the construction industry is strongly preferred; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred.
