The Compliance Program Supervisor serves as a member of the Texas Veterans Commission FVA team. Supervises the daily operations and activities of the Compliance Officer section responsible for assuring compliance of all grants awarded by the Commission. Performs highly complex (senior-level) grant development, coordination, oversight, and administration work. Provides expertise and guidance in fiscal compliance reviews, grant monitoring activities, accounting-related functional duties, and reporting of grants to determine appropriateness of grant or compliance with requirements and standards. Work involves coordinating, reviewing, evaluating, and reporting of grantee compliance with requirements, policies, and regulations. Position serves as the agency point-of-contact for all grant compliance monitoring and accounting functions. To promote a strong environment, TVC maintains a telecommuting policy. One year of experience may be substituted for one year of education, for up to four years of verifiable grant compliance, finance, comptroller, or auditing experience.College Transcripts are required, it is preferred they be attached to the application.Experience: Four(4) years of experience in leadership by managing or supervising employees. Two (2) years of full-time experience in financial administration, development, coordination, and monitoring of grants or operational budgets to include verifiable experience in using Code of Federal Regulations (CFR200) guidelines and applying requirements to monitoring activities is required.Certification:Must have aGrant Management Certification at the time of hire or achieve the certification within 12 months of the hire date.
