Mission
The Compliance Analyst is responsible for implementing, promoting, auditing and advising Human Resources (HR) and line management on compliance issues. The Compliance Analyst supports the Legal and Compliance departments by providing updates and documentation regarding employment law and best practices.
Responsibilities
Implement programs and processes to ensure compliance with employment legislation, immigration law and internal policies. Audit and advise Human Resources (HR) and line management on compliance issues.
Stay informed on legal and regulatory changes. Align Schlumberger policy with those changes and communicate these to management.
Provide guidance to management and HR on investigating and resolving filed complaints. Participate on the investigating team and own the Functions Managed Allegations within the assigned location.
Sometimes act as the point of contact for external legal advisors and coordinate Schlumberger legal involvement in employment lawsuits.
Managing Statutory Compliance under Factories/ S &E Act bases across India.
Provide expert domain knowledge to assist in responding to questions and queries received through HR InTouch.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Promote privacy awareness and oversee deployment of data protection requirements and the company's privacy strategy.
Added Responsibilities in managing Industrial Relation Portfolio
Monitor changes in statutory labour laws and make recommendations as necessary.
Foster relationships with trade unions and ensure compliance with union laws and constitution.
Coordinate with third parties in workplace industrial relations.
Keep abreast of developments in Industrial Relations practice and get involved in employee counselling and coaching.
Form labour policy, oversee industrial labour relations, negotiate collective bargaining agreements, and coordinate grievance procedures to handle complaints resulting from disputes with unionized employees.
Interpret and administer contracts with respect to grievances, wages and salaries, employee welfare, healthcare, pensions, union and management practices, and other contractual stipulations.
Experience & Exposures:
Compliance
Preferably from both IT and manufacturing Industry, have handled factory and Shop and Establishment premises with Industrial relation background.
People management exposure would be an added value to us.
Core Relevant experience of 6 to 8 years
Requires traveling to different oilfields and operational facilities as per business requirement across INDIA.
