Job Description
The Compliance Administrator will report to and assist the Compliance Officer with ensuring both corporate and legal compliance related to construction project Diversity Utilization Goals, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), and Affirmative Action (AA).
Responsibilities
Diversity Compliance
Assist with implementation of Diversity Compliance policy and procedures
Coordinate outreach and solicitations to diverse businesses in conjunction with project needs (“Good Faith Efforts”)
Communicate directly with responsive companies to provide requested information and obtain quotes
Document, organize, and maintain all outreach efforts, advertising, responses, research, communications, and investigations
Follow up with companies as necessary to fulfill applicable good faith effort requirements
Travel to company locations to conduct commercially useful function (“CUF”) inspections
Attend and represent RCC at networking events and online forums when applicable
Equal Employment/Affirmative Action Compliance
Generate and post required Site Documents for all projects
Generate and transmit required periodic EEO mailings and letters to applicable contacts
Conduct project site visits as applicable
General
Update and uphold internal diversity compliance and business processes
Participate in periodic Compliance Department meetings
Other related duties as assigned or delegated by the Compliance Officer
Required Qualifications
Associate’s Degree or equivalent
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to work independently, in a team, and across multiple departments
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Ability to travel during one workday per week (using a Company-provided vehicle) to visit company locations
