  The Opportunity

  As the Senior Competitive Intelligence Analyst (Domestic) you will be responsible for providing research and analysis on the company’s competitive landscape and market share with a focus on our domestic portfolios. You will analyze market, customer, and competitor information to provide insights on trends and landscape to support our account and portfolio growth strategies. You will lead competitive/market assessments and support strategic planning efforts to assist in our market growth and go-to-market strategies. This includes evaluating and clearly articulating market opportunity, market sizing and trends. You should love research, analyzing data and predicting where and how the market and business will grow.

  Core Responsibilities

  Responsibilities will support our Domestic Portfolios. Therefore, a background and understanding of the GovCon Fed/Civ market is desired.

  Responsible for leading and supporting market research & analysis, competitive landscape analysis and growth strategy.

  Through partnership and collaboration within the Growth Office and across the accounts/portfolios, research and analyze data relative to our competitive presence and assist with identifying opportunities for growth, to include emerging markets.

  Support development of market and competitive landscape tools to be utilized in assessments, capture activities and strategy development.

  Access various open sources to aggregate news and other related content with the intent of producing and maintaining a current view of Abt's competitive landscape.

  Distill market insights and implications into clear and concise summaries and recommendations to our account and portfolio teams.

  Manage market and competitor research and analysis requests that may support account planning, portfolio strategies and capture activities.

  Conduct standard, periodic analyses and reports on key customers and top competitors.

  Support the account planning process, providing analyses and insights on market trends, customer buying habits and competitor strategies.

  What We Value

  · Level 3: Bachelor’s Degree + 5 years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree + 3 years of relevant experience, or PhD + 0 years of relevant experience.

  · Level 4: Bachelor’s Degree + 9 years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree + 7 years of relevant experience, or PhD + 4 years of relevant experience.

  Background in strategy, market or competitive intelligence

  Experience performing market/competitor research and analysis within the federal government services market, ideally with Civilian agencies.

  Strong analysis, data visualization and presentation skills

  Analytical skills, including ability to develop spreadsheets, to analyze companies, including financial statements, and to provide actionable intelligence and insights

  Highly organized and detail-oriented

  Ability to think strategically and anticipate future trends, needs and expectations.

  Ability to identify and analyze data and information from available resources and quickly extract key insights and trends and deliver clear conclusions and connections to inform key business decisions.

  Experience using common competitive intelligence research and analysis tools (BGov, FPDS, USASpending.org, GovWin) and other resources.

  Must be a team player.

  This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of approximately for a Level 3 is $79,000-$127,000 and for Level 4 is $91,000 - $146,000 and may vary by ten percent depending on candidate geographic location. Salary offers are made based on internal equity and market analysis.
