Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, our Business Development Representative is primarily responsible for prospecting, nurturing, and booking demo meetings that lead to a qualified pipeline for our sales organization. Your target audience will be B2B marketers and sellers who will use PathFactory in very much the same way you do as an employee. Talk about being hyper-relevant!
As PathFactory’s next Business Development Representative, you will:
Provide an outstanding customer experience from the outset as you will be the first contact that prospects will have with PathFactory.
Utilize a best-in-class tech stack, along with your ingenuity and curiosity, to conduct account and contact research on target accounts to identify key stakeholders.
Confidently and authoritatively interact with external senior-level personnel, including C-suite executives at Enterprise accounts.
Conduct daily cold calls, follow-up calls, and emails, and communicate via social channels with prospects.
Collaborate and align with Mid-Market and Enterprise Account Executives on account strategy and outreach plans.
Generate sales-qualified opportunities by booking appointments, resulting in a workable pipeline.
Qualify meetings by gathering the necessary information prior to the initial discovery call to create an outstanding customer experience.
Build and maintain solid relationships with prospective customers.
Educate prospects on new releases, products, and upcoming events.
Identify potential expansion opportunities within our current customer base.
Participate in integrated sales and marketing campaigns and develop outreach strategies.
Collaborate cross-departmentally to drive revenue growth.
What You'll Need
Minimum of 1 year of outbound Business/Sales Development Representative experience, preferably in SaaS.
Marketing technology experience is highly desirable.
Experience with tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or equivalent programs is considered an asset.
Outstanding organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong active listening skills and genuine curiosity to uncover customer needs, evaluation processes, and solution potential.
Desire to be in technology sales with a growth mindset. Open to coaching and committed to developing your sales skills and learning our products and processes.
Values teamwork, excelling both as an individual and a collaborative team member.

An assignment to get a better understanding of your business development skills.
45-minute (video) interview with the hiring manager, Vice President of Sales, and Director of Rev Ops to review the assignment.
15-minute (video) interview with our Chief Revenue Officer as a final step in the process to get to know our leadership and get a sense of the direction of our organization.
