As part of the Corporate Communications and Marketing team, you will be part of a department constantly looking for ways to bring our family farm-owners value through all the possibilities of dairy. You will support them, and our network of approximately 18,000 employees, through the oversight of the Project Management team who brings projects and campaigns to life across internal communications to multiple audiences and through marketing, social media and public relations.
The right candidate will embrace ambiguity and be energized by high levels of cross-functional collaboration and can demonstrate success in delivering impact and continual improvement. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organizational skills, a strong bias for action and an ability to drive collaboration.
General Purpose:
Manage all aspects of planning, execution, and delivery of interrelated projects or audience specific campaigns that flow through the Corporate Communications, Marketing, and Creative teams. Collaborate with project team and stakeholders to define detailed requirements inclusive of scope, budget, and timeline to meet project objectives while implementing resource management, risk management, and change management methodologies.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and maintain detailed work plans that define scope and identify and sequence workflow activities that support the needs of the Corporate Communications, Marketing, and Creative teams
Manage and drive project deliverables from conception to approval to implementation across multiple projects or campaigns, simultaneously
Support department work streams to define and measure project success using metrics, tools, and resources
Track key decisions and prioritization that impact project scope, cadence, timelines, and/or budget
Oversee projects based on direction from multiple sources, while building and maintaining positive relationships with internal team members and external partners and vendors
Manage project team to ensure responsibilities are clear and decision makers are present
Work collaboratively to allocate and manage resources by project, client/business unit, and/or department work streams, including skillsets and/or tools needed to successfully execute
Own, maintain, and report on project plans, status, and priorities for every project assigned
Develop an in-depth understanding of business models and challenges to lead evaluation of potential risk. Continuously provide transparency with key stakeholders (internal and external) to mitigate risk to timelines, scope, and budget
Ensure all project objectives and deliverables are clearly documented, approved, and delivered to meet client/business unit’s needs and expectations
Assist in the development and guide the adoption and adherence of new and existing processes, tools, and standards that support the needs of the department

Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communication, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
2 to 5 years of related experience
Creative agency, marketing, public relations, or communications experience preferred
Proven track record of success in providing high caliber project management services to clients and teams
Experience managing project teams and multiple simultaneous projects
Understanding of project planning and traffic management
Certification and/or License – PMP desired
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Solid knowledge of project management tools, techniques, and methodologies
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Skill in leadership and coaching
