　　Black & McDonald's Mechanical ICI team is growing! The Commissioning Manager, HVAC is located in Windsor, ON and typically reports directly to the Project Director.

　　The Commissioning Manager, HVAC will assist with the overall project performance and client handover experience all while maintaining excellent relationships with all parties involved (trades, subcontractors, consultants, and clients). The Commissioning Manager, HVAC will work closely with the Project Director, & the various project staff/PM's by informing them of questions, progress, discrepancies in the project design & process, and schedule.

　　Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

　　Developing various commissioning, scheduling, training, and O&M documentation

　　Assist project controls team with scheduling commissioning activities

　　Manage end-to-end process of equipment start-up and project commissioning activities

　　Coordinating site activities such as equipment start-ups, system balancing, functional testing, and training

　　Interpreting and reviewing MEP documents and submittals

　　Conducting site inspections (including observation report and issues log follow-up)

　　Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, consultants, and sub-trades

　　Ability to understand contract documents (drawings, specifications, etc.)

　　EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

　　Successful completion of a recognized HVAC and/or refrigeration certificate and/or;

　　Successful completion of an engineering degree or commissioning certificate.

　　WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

　　5+ Years of experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting and correcting diverse HVAC service issues and/or;

　　5+ years of commissioning and/or engineering experience.

　　SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

　　Available to work in Windsor, ON plus work flexible hours

　　Completion of safety training is an asset (i.e. working at heights)

　　Punctual, presentable and respectful at all times
