Description We are in search of a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be the first point of communication for desktop support, aiding both remote and onsite end users. You will be involved in troubleshooting Windows operating systems and Citrix, as well as managing VPNs and Napdrives. This role is a long-term contract employment opportunity in the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for desktop support, assisting both onsite and remote end users.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows operating systems and Citrix.

• Manage and maintain VPNs to ensure secure and reliable remote access.

• Administer Napdrives, ensuring optimal performance and security.

• Use the Gira ticketing system effectively to manage and track support requests.

• Leverage your experience in the oil and gas industry to understand and meet specific user needs.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements • Proficiency in Citrix Technologies is a must for this role

• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Office Suite and Windows OS

• Experience with Active Directory, including user and group management

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Computer Hardware

• Knowledge of Configuration Management processes and tools

• Experience with Deployments of software and hardware upgrades

• Proven skills in Deskside Support, including assisting end-users in a face-to-face setting

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and clients

• IT-related certification or degree would be an advantage
