Summary Serves as a Commissary Contractor Monitor in a commissary store at a Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) facility. The primary purpose of this position is to conduct quality assurance inspections and contract surveillance duties of specified commissary stocking, order-writing, custodial, receiving, holding and/or other contracted services performed in a commissary. Responsibilities Conduct quality assurance inspections and contractor surveillance. Provide comments and recommendations for additions, deletions, or changes to contractor services to ensure compliance with DeCA directives. Approve or rejects contractor's work schedule and checks work for quality and timeliness. Maintain the store's space allocations program by such duties as designating to the contractor proper item shelf locations when shelf tags are missing or otherwise not identifiable. Advise commissary or contracted order writers. Act as the commissary manager's representative during the night time hours to ensure government property is secure. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications You must meet the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) qualifications for series 1101 and additional requirements by the announcement closing date. Experience can be under other Federal service pay systems, private sector, or military.
