  Role Overview

  The Regional Solutions and Services (RSS) business unit of Siemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for a Commercial Program Manager to support a major Decarbonization Program deployment of a Global customer

  The Commercial Program Manager will be a partner to Program Manager in executing the Program across multiple sites globally. The Commercial Program Manager together with the technical Program Manager will be responsible to deliver the program on time, on budget, at the right quality to the customer satisfaction. This position will report to the Global EPS Finance Head

  Location: Role can be based in our Zug HQ – Switzerland ( preferred location ), Austria or Germany

  Your Responsibilities

  You will supervise and control project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and deliverables in accordance with Umbrella agreement and defined Playbook across the regions that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and other stakeholders

  You will coach, mentor, empower, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work

  You will support with identifying and resolving issues/conflicts within the project team

  You will manage all functional departments in a matrix organization

  You will be responsible for contract & claims management, looking for the opportunities across the regions

  You will proactively lead changes in program / project scope, identify potential problems, and devise contingency plans from a cost perspective

  You will interface with external customer on program progress and any contract or finance issues

  You will support PM with the development and delivery of monthly project reports, customer progress reports, customer change proposals, and presentations to management and internal/external customers

  Your Profile

  Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics

  Minimum required past experience: 10 years plus, preferably in a similar Project environment

  Strong financial, leadership, interpersonal, and analytical skills

  Experience within a Large projects / Construction Industry required

  Civil or Mechanical Engineering project background a big advantage

  Demonstrated history of increasing responsibility and ability to lead and inspire

  Understanding of GAAP and internal controls

  Results driven; customer focused; ability to interact effectively within cross-functional teams; collaborative style

  Project Management Professional (PMP) or Commercial Project Manager (CPM) certification required

  Experience working in complex project

  Working in cross-border projects

  Profound understanding of internal business processes in sales and project execution

  Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken

  German would be beneficial

  Required amount of travel: > 25% (depending on stage and status of projects)
