　　This Collections Specialist position is for candidates who are natural leaders driven by a strong sense of accomplishment, and focused, detail-oriented thinkers with backgrounds in accounting, finance or business administration. 　　Major responsibilities:

　　Guarantee payments are processed

　　Act as mediator in maintaining quality customer service and a positive company image by resolving customer account inquiries

　　Direct all billing and reporting activities in accordance to deadlines

　　Abide by all Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act rules and regulations

　　Attend to inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence

　　Update customer files to ensure data integrity

　　Accurately process bankruptcy filings when received

　　Register all customer payments to the correct reports

　　Identify delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, written correspondence, phone contact, and making arrangements for payment

　　Requirements

　　1+ years of prior high volume collections experience

　　Prior experience using accounting software

　　Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Office

　　Solid understanding of customer service

　　Administrative Assistance experience highly desired

　　Knowledge of customer invoices

　　Proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel

　　Deep understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR)

　　Posting Payments experience preferred

　　Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

　　Ability to analyze and make decisions on customer accounts
