Under the direction ofthe Collections Supervisor, collect delinquent loans on a timely basisby working with customers to bring accounts current within departmentpolicy and procedure, and maintain department goals while delivering anexceptional customer experience during every interaction. This positionrequires candidates to be bilingual in both Spanish and English. As aCollections Representative at Associated Bank, you will: Be responsiblefor obtaining past-due debts from individual or business customers ofthe bank. These customers may have an overdrawn checking or savingsaccount, or they may have missed an auto, mortgage, or business loanpayment. Identifying the issue, collaborating on solutions, andcollecting the funds owed to the bank is at the heart of this position.Work in a call center environment. Representatives wear headsets tofield incoming calls and contact customers. A system automatically dialstelephone numbers of customers with past-due accounts and, once the callhas been answered, the system connects the call to the CollectionsRepresentative. During calls, representatives access multiple systems todiscuss account status. After an introductory period and provencompetency, this position has the potential to transition to a remotework environment. Place 70-100 outgoing calls each day. Discussions aretypically 10 minutes in length.
