CNC Technician - Cleveland, OH - JOB 24-00073Hourly Rate: $30.00 - $35.00/HR Permanent Position with BenefitsOur client, a Manufacturing company located in Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking a CNC Technician. The CNC Technician's key responsibility will be to use their technical expertise in the operation of specialized manufacturing equipment to meet overall productivity and quality goals. Recommend applications of new technology or equipment modifications.Requirements:• High School Diploma or GED• Associates Degree in Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Technology is a plus (Not Required)• Must have five (5) years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment.• Experience with Machining & CNC operation and setup• Experience performing PMs on equipment.• Must have strong math and computer skills.• Good understanding of quality standards• OSHA Basic safety training• Experience/Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC)• Must have strong mechanical aptitude.• Must have good problem-solving skills.• Must have excellent communications skills (verbal and written)• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.• Must have excellent attendance and work ethic.Key Responsibilities:• Troubleshoots equipment to correct in-process problems.• Assist with the installation, start-up, and operating specifications when equipment is modified or during new start-ups as needed.• Make recommendations for applications of new technology or equipment modifications.• Participate in the training of Operators, Machine Technicians and others in the effective operation, setup and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.• Recommend equipment improvements and modifications.Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.Due to the large amount of resumes we expect to receive only the most qualified candidates will be contacted.
