Balance wheel and mount it on the spindle.Tolerances on sizes, parallelism and squareness are close, generally theprint specification allows .002 to .003 tolerances, but not difficult tomaintain. Some grinding specifications require the tolerance to bewithin .0001 to .0002, requiring very precise and demanding attention.The parts must have a good finish, no burn or chatter marks. Check thework using a micrometer, depth or fixed gages. Dress wheel for flat orface grinding. Normally operate two machines. Operations are performedwith the use of coolant. Detect faulty or defective material and referunusual conditions to supervisor. Perform all duties in conformance withall safety and health requirements. Perform all other duties required orrequested. Maintain the machine as necessary by changing the coolant,cleaning, oiling and greasing, etc. Keep the work area in a clean,orderly and safe manner.
