　　Job Title: Machine Operator

　　Essential Functions:

　　Work safely and observe all safety rulesTo load raw material into and cut, burn, shear, or bend sheet steel and structural steel per drawingsAbility to program, set-up and operate metal cutting machines to cut and shape parts to specifications using CNC programming including performing machine maintenancePerform first piece quality inspections and fill out necessary paperwork for recordMaterial Handling and Transportation of ProductOperation of Overhead Cranes and lifting devicesUse mechanical ability, work instructions, and hand toolsRead blueprints to determine how to make necessary shapesAbility to use proper instruments such as: protractor, calipers, tape measures, steel gauges, etc.Report steel usage and count inventoryReceive and properly store sheet steel and structural steelPerform other tasks as directedComplies with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and proceduresComply with all Health and Safety policies and proceduresUses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as requiredActive involvement in DPS through continuous improvement and kaizen eventsMust be able to work scheduled overtime hoursAssist other departments as needed
