Phoenix Job Corps Center operated by Adams and Associates, Inc., isseeking a qualified Program Coordinator for CNA (Certified NursingAssistant). Job Corps is a national program that helps eligible youngpeople ages 16 through 24 to complete their high school education,trains them for meaningful careers in today\'s leading industries, andassists them with obtaining employment. Job Corps has trained andeducated over two million individuals since 1964. Adams and Associates,Inc., is private employee-owned company that partners with the U.S.Department of Labor Education and Training Administration to operate JobCorps Center across the country. In addition to Phoenix, we operatethirteen other Centers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the oversight and management of the Career TechnicalTraining Nursing departmentEnsures all C.N.A. instructor meet Board qualificationsEnsures Program meets all MS Board of Nursing Program requirementsEnsures that Program meets all federal requirements regardingclinical facilities under 42 CFR 483.151Provides all required written reports and updates to MS Board ofNursing as applicableProvides program curricula and clinical instruction to students thatmeets or exceeds all MS Board of Nursing standards for NursingAssistant.Ensures each student receives comprehensive and individualized casemanagement that promotes quality career technical training,industry-recognized credential attainment and job placement.Ensures instructors provide quality career technical training andtransitional support that leads to student placement. Tracks andmonitors program outcomes to ensure goals are met.Works with the Center\'s Workforce Council to align the Center\'straining with local workforce demands and to ensure students receiveindustry-relevant training.Ensures all career technical training and WBL (Work-Based Learning)areas are represented by employers who meet with students on Centerto provide career guidance and placement opportunities.Develops Center-beneficial linkages within the community foreducation, employment, Career Technical Training and WBL. Promotes apositive image of the Center and Job Corps and establishesmeaningful relationships with elected officials.Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Current MS RN License (good standing) required.Minimum 2 years or direct nursing experience with a minimum of 2years provided in a long-term care facility.Must meet (1) one of the following requirements:Successful completion of a three (3) semester credit course onadult teaching and learning concepts offered an accreditedpost-secondary educational institution; ORCompletion of a 40-hours continuing education program in adultteaching and learning concepts that was awarded continuingeducation credit by an accredited organization; OROne year of full-time or 1500 hours experience teaching adultsas a faculty member or clinical education; OROne year of full time or 1500 hours experience supervisingnursing assistants, either in addition to or concurrent with theone year of long-term care experience requiredAdams and Associates, Inc. abides by the requirements of 41 CFR60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
